Interesting flights to or from Geneva airport for the week from Monday 17 May 2021 to Sunday 23 May 2021.

Monday 17 May: Harmony Jets Malta sending a Falcon 50 to Misrata Libya via Dubai.

Tuesday 18 May: a Qatar Executive Gulf 5 went to Yaoundé-Nsimalen, in the Cameroons, returning later in the week. They used to have a good football side some time ago.

Wednesday 19 May: A long trip (!) of a jet owned by Rolex SA went to the Lyon executive airport and back again.

Thursday 20 May: A Falcon 2000 owned by Patek Philippe S A did a round trip to Athens. A Gulf 6 of Orecla Services SA Lausanne (Philip Morris?) also went to Athens! That region is trying hard to open to tourists again, and that could be started with Whitsun visitors..

Friday 21 May: A jet aircraft operated by Black Eagle Havacilik Anonim Sirketi went to Alexander Kartveli Batumi airport . Batumi is a city on the Black Sea coast and capital of Adjara, an autonomous republic in southwest Georgia. The mnemonic for the airport is “BUS”, but I would not want to take a bus for such a long distance!

Saturday 22 May: A Pilatus PC24 of Albinati Aviation  did a spin around Geneva airport before taking passengers to St Tropez.

Sunday 23 May: An American-registered Gulf6 came to Geneva from Sao Paolo. One wonders who wants to leave Brasil.

Perhaps because of the Whitsun holiday weekend the number of taxi and business jets has significantly increased from the previous week.

The Islands of Ibiza and Palma figure frequently in the destinations. The operator Global Jet  Luxembourg, which tries to avoid that the general public can track its flights, frequently figures in such holiday destinations.
