TSR2 after THE WEDDING !

Although many anglophiles will probably choose to watch THE WEDDING on 29 April on a UK TV emission, not TSR2, they and others might care to watch Nouvo, on TSR2 in the evening, for a report on reducing aircraft noise.

easyJet: pride cometh after a fall!

The airport website today has an announcement, dated 5 April (!), of easyJet passenger 30 million leaving today, 28 April. Might they also commentate on some less glorious recent easyJet fiascos?

Two Boeing 747SP the same day

Aircraft spotters would have seen two Boeing 747SP aircraft last Saturday 23 April, both regular visitors from Saudi Arabia, plus a small medical evacuation jet from the same country. Coincidence?

This April the aircraft spotters may have seen several large, unusual and often noisy aircraft coming to Geneva, including two massive Lockheed Hercules. How do they know in advance?

Kinshasa to Brussels via Geneva

A flight of Brussels Airlines from Kinshasa to Brussels dropped in at Geneva yesterday: the day that Geneva showed off its new logo. Almost certainly a coincidence!

Air Mauritius : problems again!

Yet again, passengers on the weekly flight of Air Mauritius have had to suffer a long delay. Many will have had the pleasure of a night in a Geneva hotel and a day at the airport.

Helicopter learner pilots over France

A lady in France complained to the airport about repeated helicopter overflights last Monday night. Of course, the reply was that this is quite permissible, but I found some things strange.

A balloon or a UFO?

According to the press, the hot-air balloons flew over Geneva last Sunday. Unlike previous festivals, they seemed not to have active transponders, but there was one possible intruder.

easyJet check-in could still improve

Two weeks ago nearly half of the easyJet check-in automats did not work. Things have since improved, but there is much room for further improvement!

Late take-offs that could have woken us all!

Moussa Koussa flight started in Geneva

The media quickly picked up Twitter reports that the Libyan foreign minister, Moussa Koussa, went to London in a Swiss private jet. The flight actually started in Geneva!
